I worked at agencies for years before starting this. Same thing every time — the senior team wins the pitch, then someone you've never met runs the project. Updates stop. Deadlines move. The client spends half their time chasing the people they're paying.

I watched it happen on enough projects that I stopped being surprised and started being annoyed. Good businesses kept getting stuck with bad work because the incentives at most agencies don't reward doing the job well. They reward selling more of it.

Chaos Digital came out of that frustration. I wanted to build a shop where the person on the call is the person doing the work. No layers, no hand-offs. We started with creative and strategy, and now we're building our own software too. The way we operate hasn't changed — do the work, be honest about what's possible, and make sure it actually moves the business forward.
